Prior Experience

Successfully managed a well decommissioning program that encompassed over 280 wells for a medium sized independent O&G operator in the North Sea. Assets consisted of 8 platform assets and 14 subsea fields. P&A work commenced in 2017 and is currently scheduled to be complete in 2028.

The complete work programme involved the initial strategic planning of how the team and project should be setup, leading into board-level discussions, contract plans, technical execution options, synergy of the wells P&A scope with the strategic goals of the organisation. The well P&A scope of £2billion provided 50% of the total decommissioning spend.

The well activity was planned and executed safely, ahead of budget.
